Executive Summary

At Firestack, security is not an afterthought or a quarterly compliance checklist—it is an architectural discipline baked into every Git commit, CI/CD pipeline, and cloud deployment.

1. Snyk Security at Inception

Every code artifact developed at Firestack passes through automated Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) powered by Snyk. Vulnerability scans run on feature branches prior to code review, preventing CVEs, dependency bloat, and secret leaks from ever entering master branches.

2. Edge Infrastructure & Network Security

• TLS 1.3 & HSTS: All traffic to firestack.dev and client platforms is encrypted in transit via modern TLS 1.3 with strict HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) headers enabled.

• Global Anycast DDoS Protection: Web endpoints are shielded by Vercel’s enterprise Anycast network and automatic Layer 3/4/7 DDoS mitigation.

• Zero Trust Cloud IAM: Production credentials and database URLs are isolated via environment variable secrets vaults with least-privilege role boundaries.

3. Enterprise AI & LLM Data Protection

When engineering custom AI solutions, private RAG pipelines, or autonomous agents for clients:

• Client training data and proprietary vectors are hosted in isolated VPCs or single-tenant cloud vector databases.

• Zero data retention policies are explicitly negotiated with foundational model APIs.

• Enterprise Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) ensures AI agents only access documents permitted by user clearance level.

4. Incident Response & Vulnerability Disclosure

In the event of a verified security incident affecting client data, Firestack commits to notifying affected clients within seventy-two (72) hours of verification in accordance with GDPR Art. 33.

Responsible Disclosure: If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in our platform, please report it immediately to security@firestack.dev with detailed reproduction steps. We pledge to acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
